This Privacy Policy explains how Black Moses Freedom Festival LLC ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit blackmosesfreedomfestival.com (the "Site"), buy tickets or products, sign up for activities, apply to take part, volunteer, donate or contact us.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us:

• Tickets, registrations and purchases: your name, email address, phone number, billing details and what you ordered. Card payments are handled by our payment processor; we do not see or store your full card number.

• Forms: anything you enter in our contact form, volunteer form, newsletter sign-up, or our speaker, performer, vendor and wellness registration forms. This can include your name, email, phone, mailing address, business details, social media or website, a bio and a logo.

• Member accounts: if you create an account on the Site, your login details and profile information.

• Donations: donations are made through Givelify, which collects your payment details under its own privacy policy.

Information collected automatically: when you visit the Site, our website platform (Wix) uses cookies and similar technology to collect basic information such as your browser and device type, pages visited and general location. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies using the cookie banner on the Site, and change your choice at any time in your browser settings.

2. How we use your information

• To process ticket purchases, orders, registrations and applications, and to send confirmations.

• To organize the festival, including scheduling vendors, performers, speakers, volunteers and tours.

• To answer your questions and messages.

• To send festival news and updates if you signed up for them. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

• To keep the Site secure and understand how it is used so we can improve it.

• To meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the festival and the Site, and only as needed:

• Wix.com, which hosts the Site and handles our ticketing, online store, forms and member accounts.

• Payment processors, which handle card payments for tickets and purchases.

• Google Forms, which hosts some of our application and registration forms.

• Givelify, which handles donations.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our guests, volunteers and staff.

4. Photos and video at the festival

We may take photos and video at festival events and use them on our Site and social media. If you would prefer not to appear, please let a festival team member know at the event or email us and we will do our best to remove it.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires (for example, for tax records).

6. Keeping it safe

We use reputable service providers and limit access to people who need it. No website or online service is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

7. Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you emails. Email us at the address below and we will respond within a reasonable time.

8. Children

The festival welcomes families, but the Site is not meant for children under 13 to use on their own. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Links to other sites

Our Site links to other websites, such as our sponsors and social media pages. We are not responsible for how those sites handle your information; please read their privacy policies.
