About the event

The Black Moses Freedom Festival has been curated as a Heritage, Health, and Wellness Festival celebrating the Spirit, Ingenuity, and Liberation of African Americans and people of color around the globe in keeping with Harriet Tubman’s legacy. We have developed 5 Pillars of Harriets Plight that we uphold with all that we engage with:

  1. Freedom
  2. Family
  3. Higher Power
  4. Land
  5. Service

Our goals for the future include a parade, Harriet Tubman day as the first national holiday for a woman in America, provide more healing and wellness services, community economic empowerment, and continue engaging in liberation through art, agriculture, and history. We need our stories told truthfully and in full light of our contributions to our very own liberation, for the community and generations to come, to see and be empowered by that legacy.

We look forward to your role in assisting us with this celebration of the Life and Legacy of Harriet Tubman at the 1st Annual Black Moses Freedom Festival. Our organization’s mission is to utilize local history as a platform to promote education, healthier lifestyle choices, and economic empowerment for the community, as well as to promote tourism in our targeted areas.  The Black Moses Freedom Festival is a Heritage, Health, and Wellness Festival. We also invite you to share the information about this festival with your family, friends and associates.
